Serve Evaluations, Review, and Corrections

Review the components of the serve including grip, stance, toss, contact point, finish, balance, and the timing of motion.  Learn doubles serve tactics.

Net Play – Volley Evaluations, Review, and Corrections

Drills are used to improve volley technique and footwork. Review and practice of the serve and ground strokes through drills.

Drills are used to improve the return of serve.  Serve and volley placement drills are introduced and practiced.

Net Play – Overhead, and Lob Evaluations, Review, and Corrections.

Practice the lob, overhead, serve and return of serve through drills.  Groundstroke practice included.

Poaching and Doubles Play

Learn techniques and tactics of poaching. Review and warm-up prior to playing doubles.   Doubles strategies will be introduced.

Review of Doubles Skills and Play

General Review and warm-up drills prior to play.  Students will gain playing experience through practice and competition.
